Term of Use
Chapter 1 General Provisions
Article 1 (Purpose and Application)
1. GLOBAL ANGLE Term of Use (The “TERMS”) applies to all services provided by GLOBAL ANGLE Pte. Ltd. (the “Company”) as set forth in Chapter 2, Article 4 (the “Service”). User of Service (the “User”) will use this Service after fully understanding the content of TERMS and agreeing to abide by it.
2. The rules, precautions, instructions for use, notices, etc, regarding the use of Service posted by Company on this website at any time shall be deemed to be part of TERMS.
Article 2 (Changes to Terms)
1. Company reserves the right to change these Terms at any time at its discretion. In addition, the revised Terms shall take effect from the time the revised Terms are posted on this website.
2. If the User continues to use Services after posting the changed TERMS, it will be deemed to have fully agreed with all content of TERMS.
Chapter 2 Terms of the Service
Article 3 (Purpose of Service)
1. Company will collect and research market information in cities around the world in response to User inquiries. The Services targets are not limited to particular industries or countries, and the research will be conducted with the aim of expanding the User’s business.
Article 4 (Contents of Service)
1. On-site survey/coverage: Company conduct surveys that require physical on-site visits, such as store visiting, traffic surveys, on-site inspections, photography, and record video.
[Note] Company will select the place to visit according to the User’s request, but we do not confirm or guarantee that we will be able to obtain the information requested by User.
2. Interview: Company will select/list people who are expected to have information or knowledge to be investigated, and conduct interviews and questionnaires surveys.
[Note] The personal information of the interviewee will be shared only with the consent of the interviewee. Company does not confirm or guarantee that the information requested by the User can be obtained through interviews.
3. Web research: Company conducts keyword searches, market research, SNS research, article searches, collects statistics and regulatory information in the local language, and reports with summaries.
[Note] Company will report survey progress and results in detail, but Company does not confirm or guarantee that the information requested by User can be derived from specific information.
4. Company Listing: Listing, screening, and interviewing candidates/companies to be local business partners of User.
[Note] Listing and screening may not be possible depending on User’s inquiries.
5. Business trip support: From the planning of on-site inspection according to the User’s inquiries, Company will make various arrangements such as accommodation, transportation, visiting places, etc.
[Note] Company will consult with User in advance about the necessary conditions of the destinations requiring an appointment.
6. In addition to the services from items 1 – 5 above, Company will provide services that have been mutually agreed upon by both parties based on User’s inquiries and our suggestions.
Article 5 (Service Implementation)
1. Implementation method: Our consultants will work with User to design and confirm the details of the survey, and our partner, a local resident investigator (usually of local nationality) will conduct the survey. Our consultant will prepare a report based on the survey results and collected information and provide the survey results (the “Deliverables”) to User.
2. Investigation target countries/cities: Even if there is no restriction on the target countries/cities, in cases of countries and cities where our local partners are not available, Company will consult with User about the survey content, travel expenses, and deadlines for submitting deliverables.
3. Company will start the investigation after receiving User consent regarding the specification of the investigation start and duration, report/delivery deadline, and after User has paid the invoiced amount. Depending on the content of the investigation, the investigation period may be extended upon agreement with User. There may also be delays due to country conditions, data availability, and seasonal factors.
Article 6 (Application for Service)
1. To apply, please submit the application form by e-mail or by using the online inquiry form, or contact one of our employees.
2. The formal application for the investigation will be completed when User has agreed on the details of the investigation, Deliverable, and Delivery deadline presented by Company, and when User has paid the invoiced amount.
3. However, there may be cases where Service is temporarily suspended due to Company business conditions, or Company may not be able to conduct or continue investigations due to local circumstances such as emergencies.
Article 7 (Fees and payment for Service)
1. The investigation fee will be estimated based on regulations, taking into consideration the survey content, volume, target countries/regions/cities, industry/product number, number of investigators conducting the survey, etc.
2. Billing and payment terms shall be in accordance with the conditions agreed upon at the time of quotation.
3. In addition to this TERMS, terms of payment according to quotes, contracts, or any other agreement agreed by the User, shall prevail.
4. The initial estimate may change depending on the investigation process or results. If the actual amount exceeds the amount charged before the survey, User will be asked to confirm their intention to continue the survey with the newly incurred amount, which will then be billed and must proceed with payment before conducting the additional investigation.
5. Please note that depending on the content of the request, the results of the investigation may be unclear or the relevant information may not exist.
Chapter 3 The general terms of Service
Article 8 (Disclaimer)
1.Company does not make any guarantees to the User regarding the individual content and quality of any part of Service, or whether the User can obtain the information requested by the User.
2.The Company will endeavor to ensure the accuracy of information as much as possible, but it is the User’s responsibility and judgment to decide whether or not to use the information in the end.
The company will not be responsible for any direct or indirect liability to the User in the event that the User uses the information provided by the Company or suffers any loss from the information provided. In addition, Company will endeavor to collect as much information as possible, but please note that the results will depend on the state of information, statistics, etc. of the countries surveyed.
Article 9 (Confidentiality)
1. Company shall not disclose to a third party any business secrets of User that Company has obtained through the implementation of Service (Excludes secrets Company have obtained from third parties or which have known by ourselves) or Company will handle it appropriately without using it for purposes other than the implementation of Service.
However, this article does not apply to any of the following.
- A. Information owned by the Company prior to acquisition from User
- B. Information is already known to the public at the time of acquisition from User
- C. Information that becomes publicly known through no fault of the Company after being acquired from User.
- D. Information lawfully obtained from duly authorized third parties.
2. Personal information related to Service will be used for the implementation of Service and guidance on related Services.
Article 10 (Prohibitions)
Our partner, a local resident investigator, has registered as a member of our service and has agreed to our terms of use. In the terms of use, we have specified the terms related to “Non-circumvention; Non-solicitation”. We prohibit local resident investigators from entering into an independent business contract with the User or any similar action during membership registration.
Similarly, User of this Service should refrain from soliciting local resident investigators who become known through Service for the purpose of outsourcing work during their membership registration.
Article 11 (Governing Law/Jurisdiction Agreement)
This TERMS shall be interpreted based on the laws of Singapore. The courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of or in connection with this TERMS (including a dispute regarding the existence, validity, or termination of this TERMS)
