Background & Purpose
As part of the overseas expansion support for a startup developing a child tracker GPS and a simple communication device that penetrates households with young children in Japan, we conducted a search to look for opportunities in the US and selected target countries in the EU.
Project Scope & Research Process
- Conducted state-by-state (online survey, FGD) and regulatory surveys on telecommunication regulations, etc. in the US.
- We identified early adopter profiles by narrowing down the focus to states with high acceptance, and provided local support for implementation of test and pilot marketing
- With regards to the EU, priority countries were selected in terms of external factors such as crime rates against children and regulations, as well as in terms of acceptability.
Deliverables
